- Mr RMy spouse taught for many years at Fairbanks Elementary School before it closed and consolidated with Weaver Elementary. What the Drew Lewis foundation has done with this ancient school and the surrounding grounds is remarkable. The Fairbanks has been completely reimagined from a tired, old, and abandoned elementary school into a working resource center devoted to the Northside neighborhood it anchors. The Fairbanks feeds, clothes, teaches and unites the community; just as a church, school, or community outreach center should strive to do. The Fairbanks and the Drew Lewis Foundation have brought new life and purpose into this building and paid that life and purpose forward to the community.
- Nature HWe have taken 3 fairly decent bikes to the Fairbanks and purchased a bike to. If you have a bike to give, time to volunteer, want to buy a bike or have a cash donation -get in touch with the Fairbanks. Help those guys out. Thank you Springfield.
- Patricia LWent to kids business sale and it was fun. They all worked really hard on there stuff that they sold.
